Full Written Recipe for Paneer Do Pyaza Prep time: 15 minutes Cooking time: 25 minutes Serves: 4-6 For shallow frying the paneer Ingredients: Paneer 750 gm Oil for shallow frying Water Salt to taste Methods: Cut the paneer in 4cm × 4 cm slab or you could also choose to cut it into cubes as per your preference. Shallow fry the paneer until golden brown or crisp layer formed on both the sides. Transfer it to a salted Luke warm water and immerse it for 10 minutes. For making do pyaaza Ingredients: Ghee 2 tbsp + oil 1 tsp Whole spices: Cumin seeds 1 tsp Bay leaves 2 nos. (Cinnamon stick 1 inch Hari elaichi (green cardamom) 2 nos. Laung (Cloves) 3-4 nos. Black Peppercorns 3-4 nos. Badi elaichi 1 no. Hing ½ tsp Onions 5-6 medium size (sliced) Ginger garlic paste 3 tbsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Tomatoes 4 medium size (chopped) Salt to taste Curd ½ cup Powdered spices: Red chilli powder 1 tbsp Coriander powder 1 tbsp Fennel powder 1 tsp Cumin powder 1 tsp Hot Water as required Fried paneer Garam masala 1 tsp Kasuri methi 1 tsp Onion chilli tempering: Ghee 1 tbsp Jeera 1 tsp Coriander seed 1 tsp (crushed) Green chillies 2-3 nos. (slit) Dry Kashmiri red chillies 1-2 nos. Garam masala 1 tsp Onion petals ½ cup Fresh coriander leaves 1 tbsp (chopped) Methods: Set a wok on medium heat, add ghee and the whole spices and sauté it for a minute, add hing, sliced onions and cook until the onions are almost golden brown. Next, add ginger garlic paste and sauté until the onions are completely golden brown, further add turmeric and cook for few minutes. Now add the tomatoes and salt to taste, cook it really well until they are mushy and thee ghee separates from the masala. Take a separate bowl, add curd and powdered spices and mix well, lower the flame and add this to the wok, stir it continuously for 2-3 minutes, cook on medium low heat until the curd is cooked and the ghee separates from masala. Adjust the consistency of the gravy by adding hot water, stir and cook further for 3-4 minutes and bring to a boil. Add the paneer in the wok, mix gently and further add, garam masala and kasuri methi, cook for 1-2 minutes. Set a separate tadka pan on medium high heat, add ghee, jeera crushed coriander, dry Kashmiri chilli, onion petals and slit green chillies, sauté them for a minute and add the tempering immediately over the paneer gravy, stir gently for a minute and further cover and cook on low medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Finally finish it with some freshly chopped coriander leaves, your paneer do pyaaza is ready to be served, serve it hot with laccha paratha, roti or any Indian bread of your choice. Then add onion saute it until light golden brown. Now add degi red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder saute for a minute. Then add capsicum, tomatoes and saute properly for 2-3 minutes, now cover and let it cook on medium low heat for 8-10 minutes or until soft. Add some water, bring it to a boil and switch off the flames and let it cool down properly. Once cooled grind it into a fine paste and keep aside for further use. For Bhindi Do Pyaza In a kadai heat oil and add black cardamom, onion, lady finger, ginger-garlic paste and saute for 4-5 minutes or until cooked. Now add salt, tomato saute for a minute and add the prepared gravy saute and cook it until a minute then finish with coriander leaves. Serve hot. For Aloo Do Pyaza In a kadai heat oil and add black cardamom, onion, ginger-garlic paste, potatoes and saute for 3-4 minutes or until light brown. Now add salt, the prepared gravy sauté and cook it until a minute then finish with coriander leaves. Serve hot. Paneer Do Pyaza | Restaurant Style Paneer Do Pyaza | पनीर दो प्याज़ा Ingredients: - Paneer - 200 gms, cut into 1 inch pieces - Onions, fine chopped- 2 medium - Onion petals- 2 small onions - Green chillies, slit- 2 - Ginger garlic paste- 2 tsp - Tomato purée - 3 tbsp - Cashew paste- 10 to 12 nos - Cumin seeds- 1 tsp - Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder - 2 tsp - Coriander powder - 2 tsp - Garam Masala powder - 1/2 tsp - Kitchen King masala - 1/2 tsp - Kasuri Methi - 1 tsp - Oil - 2 tbsp - Salt - 1 tsp or to taste Preparation: - Fine chop 2 medium onions & peel petals of the 2 small onions. - Make a paste of 10-12 cashew nuts. - Cut the paneer into 1 inch cubes (around 12 pieces) & lightly pan fry them. Remove & set aside. - Lightly sauté the onion petals. Remove & set aside for later use. Process: - Heat oil in a kadhai and add the whole cumin seeds. - Once it splutters, add the chopped onions & fry till light brown in colour. This should take around 5 mins. - Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for around 2 mins till raw smell is gone. - Mix in the tomato purée and fry it for a couple of minutes on medium flame. - Now add in the turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder. Fry the masala for around 2 mins. - Once the oil separates, add the salt & cashew-paste. Mix well & add a cup of water and fry till oil separates. - Now add in the pan-fried paneer pieces, sautéed onion petals & the green chillies. Mix well & add some water. - Now add the Kitchen King Masala (readily available in the market) - Cover & cook for around 5 mins. - Now remove cover & add in garam masala powder and kasuri Methi. For Paneer Do Pyaza 2 cups paneer (cottage cheese) slices 1 cup onion cubes 3 tbsp oil 1 tbsp butter 1 small cinnamon (dalchini) stick 1 bay leaf (tejpatta) 2 cloves (laung / lavang) 1 green cardamom (elaichi) 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) 1/2 cup finely chopped onions 1 tbsp ginger (adrak) 1 tbsp red chilli paste 1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes 1/2 cup tomato pulp 1 tbsp red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi) 1/2 tsp garam masala 1/4 cup curd (dahi) salt to taste 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania) Method For paneer do pyaza To make paneer do pyaza, in a non-stick pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and shallow fry the paneer slices. Keep aside. In the same oil sauté onion cubes for few seconds and keep aside. In a deep pan, heat remaining oil and butter, add cinnamon stick, bayleaf, cloves, cardamom, cumin seeds, onions and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Add ginger garlic paste, red chilli paste and tomatoes and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the tomato pulp, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander cumin sseds powder, garam masala and curd. Cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Add fried paneer slices, salt to taste, and 1 cup of hot water. Mix well and cook on medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Add kasuri methi, sautéed onion cubes. Mix well and cook for a minute. Serve paneer do pyaza hot with roti or naan of your choice. tips to make paneer do pyaza Make sure to use fresh, soft paneer for best flavours. You can also add little fresh cream to make creamy gravy. If you do not like onion you can put capsicum cubes.

Process: - Heat oil in a pan or kadhai and add the whole cumin seeds and the garam masalas. - Once it splutters, add the ginger garlic paste & fry for around 2 mins on low heat till raw smell is gone. - Now add the grated onions, give a mix and fry on medium heat for 7 mins till colour changes. - Add the readymade tomato purée, 2-3 tbsps of water and mix & fry for around 2 mins on medium flame till oil separates. (In case you’re using fresh tomato paste fry for 3-4 mins till oil separates) - Now add in all the spice powders, 1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder and 1 tsp salt. Fry the masala for around 3 mins after adding 2-3 tbsp water till oil separates. - Once the oil separates, add the cashew-paste and the slit green chillies, give a mix and fry on low heat for 3-4 mins till oil separates. - Now add in the pan-fried paneer pieces and the sautéed onion petals Mix well & add 150 ml water. - Give a mix and cover & cook for around 5 mins. - Now remove cover & add in 1/4 tsp garam masala powder and roasted & crushed Kasuri Methi. Ingredients: 350-gm paneer 1 tsp cooking oil ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp red chili 2 tbsp cooking oil 1 tsp cumin seeds 3 dry red chilies 4 cloves 7-8 pepper 3 cardamom 2 cinnamon sticks 2 bay leaves 1 cup onion 1 tbsp garlic ginger paste 3 green chilies 1 tsp red chili powder ½ tsp turmeric 1 tsp coriander ½ cup tomato 1 tsp salt ¼ cup water 2 tbsp plain yogurt ¼ tsp sugar 1 cup hot water ½ tsp kasuri methi 1 tbsp ghee ½ cup onion petals ½ tsp garam masala ½ tsp roasted cumin 2 tbsp fresh coriander Instructions: 1. Coat paneer cubes in cooking oil, salt, and red chili powder 2. Stir fry paneer until brown in color then remove from heat 3. Add cumin seeds, dry red chilies, cloves, pepper, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, chopped onions, garlic ginger paste, green chilies, red chili powder, turmeric, and coriander 4. Splash of water 5. Saute for 5-6 minutes on medium high heat 6. Add tomato and salt to taste 7. Saute for another 4-5 minutes on medium high heat 8. Pour water and cook for 4 minutes on low heat 9. Mix in yogurt, sugar, and hot water 10. Add the fried paneer along with kasuri methi 11. Cook for 5-6 minutes on low heat 12. In a separate pan, gently sauté onion petals in ghee 13. Transfer the onions to the paneer dish 14. Sprinkle garam masala, roasted cumin and fresh coriander before serving 15. Ready to enjoy! Paneer Do Pyaza Easy Recipe|How to make Dhaba Style Paneer Do Pyaza | होटल जैसा पनीर दो प्याज़ा घर पर 🤍 #paneerdopyaza #paneerrecipe #chefajaychopra Paneer do pyaza Recipe Portions serving: 4-5 Preparation time: 20 mins Cooking time: 40 mins Calories: 310 kcal per portion Ingredients: Oil 2 tbsp Bayleaf 2 pcs Cinnamon ½ inch Green cardamom 2 pcs Black cardamom 2 pcs Black pepper 9-10 pcs Cloves 4-5 pcs Fennel seeds 1 tbsp Onion chopped 1 cup Ginger & garlic paste 2 tbsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Red chilli powder ½ tbsp Coriander powder 1 tbsp Salt ½ tbsp Curd ½ cup Tomato puree 1 cup Kitchen king masala 1 tbsp Yellow chilli powder 1 tbsp Cashew nut paste 3 tbsp Onion diced ½ cup Kasoori methi 1 tbsp Fresh cream 2 tbsp Coriander chopped 1 tbsp Method: Heat oil in a pan, add bayleaf, cinnamon, green cardamom, black cardamom, black pepper, cloves, fennel seeds and let it crackle. Then add chopped onion and saute. Add ginger & garlic paste and cook for a few seconds. Once onion gets golden brown, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and mix it. Add some water, curd and stir it well. Cook curd until it releases oil. Add tomato puree and cook it for 4-5 mins on medium flame. Meanwhile, cut the paneer block into cubes. Add kitchen king masala, yellow chilli powder and stir. Add cashew nut paste and cook for 2 mins. Then add onion dices, paneer cubes and stir it carefully. Add kasoori methi and mix it. Lastly add fresh cream, chopped coriander, blended masala and mix it well. Turn off the flame and serve hot on a plate. Paneer do pyaza is ready to go with a choice of paratha. Ingredients 1/2 cup cornflour 1 number egg 1 cup maida 1 cup Oats to fry 0 oil 1 cup paneer as per taste red chilli powder as per taste 0 salt 1 bunch spring onions as needed 0 water Directions Take a bowl add egg, maida,cornflour,salt,water make into a thin batter keep aside. Now another bowl add paneer, oats, salt, spring onions chopped, chilli pwd mix well keep aside Now take a non stick pan add little oil and wipe of with tissue paper and pour the egg batter into a thin sheets and just remove immediately from the pan and put on a corn flour dusted surface so that it does don't stick to the surface repeat the same. Everyone especially vegetarians love to have any paneer recipe like kadai paneer, palak paneer, paneer bhurji, masala paneer, paneer do pyaza etc. So today I am going to show that how to cook paneer do pyaza at home. By following all the steps everyone can make dhaba style paneer do pyaza at home very easily. There are two types of onions used while making paneer do pyaza, one at the time of making gravy and second diced onions. Due to these two types of onions this everyone’s favorite paneer is known as paneer do pyaza. Ingredients:- 1. Curd - 2tbsp 2. Salt to taste. 3. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 2+1/2tsp 4. Black pepper powder - 1/2tsp 5. Turmeric powder - ½+1/4tsp 6. Dried fenugreek leaves - 2tsp 7. Cottage cheese – 250gms 8. Clarified butter (ghee) – 1tbsp 9. Diced onions – 2 medium 10. Thank you for watching! 💫 And don’t forget to subscribe here: 🤍 Recipe : Paneer Do Pyaza Preparation Time: 20 minutes Cooking Time: 30 minutes Serves: 4 Ingredients: 400g Paneer, cut into cubes 1 cup shallots, halved 1 cup onion paste 2 tbsp Oil 2 bay leaves 1 Mace Flower 1 tsp black pepper corns 4 green cardamoms 1 black cardamom 4 clove 1 cinnamon stick 2 whole red chilies 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chili powder 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste 1 tsp garam masala powder 4 tbsp yoghurt, whisked 1 cup chopped tomatoes 1 tbsp Coriander seeds Salt to taste ½ tsp sugar 1 tbsp lemon juice Method: Heat the oil in the pan. Fry the halved shallots or baby onions in medium hot oil till lightly coloured on the outside and tender inside. Remove on a tissue paper. Add the bay whole spices to the oil and allow to splutter. Add the onion paste and saute over medium heat till the onion is golden brown. Mix the turmeric powder and the red chili powder in a ¼ cup water and add to the pan. Mix well. Add the ginger garlic paste and mix well. Add in the chopped tomatoes, salt to taste, mix well, cover and cook till the onions are tender. Add in the yoghurt and mix well. Add half cup water , bring to a boil, cover and cook till the oil floats on the top. Now add in the paneer pieces, water and mix well. Cover and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Crush the coriander seeds. Add to the paneer gravy. Add the sugar, fried onions and mix well. Add the Lemon juice. Sprinkle the Garam masala and mix well. PANEER DO PYAZA Ingredients 2 tbsps ghee 1½ tsps cumin seeds 2-3 cloves 1 inch cinnamon stick 2-3 green cardamoms 3 green chillies 1½ cups onion puree ½ tbsp ginger paste 1 tbsp garlic paste 1 cup fresh tomato puree 1½ tsps red chilli powder ½ tsp turmeric powder 2 tbsps Tata Sampann Paneer Masala ¾ cup yogurt Salt to taste 300 grams cottage cheese (paneer), cut into 1 inch cubes 1 medium onion, diced ¾ tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) powder 2 tsps lemon juice Onion rings for garnish Lemon wedge for garnish Coriander sprig for garnish Method 1. Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick, green cardamoms, and sauté till fragrant. Meanwhile, slit green chillies and set aside. 2. Add onion puree and sauté well. Add the slit green chillies and mix well. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. 3. Add ginger paste, garlic paste and sauté till the raw flavour goes away. 4. Add tomato puree and mix well. Sauté for 3-4 minutes. 5. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, Tata Sampann Paneer Masala and 4 tbsps water. Mix and sauté for 1-2 minutes. 6. Add yogurt and mix. Sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add salt, and mix well. 7. Add paneer and gently mix. Add onion dices, kasuri methi powder and mix till well coated. 8. Drizzle a little water and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Switch the heat off. 9. Add lemon juice and gently mix, transfer into a serving bowl. Garnish with onion rings, lemon wedge and coriander sprig. 10. Serve hot. PANEER DO PYAZA Yield: 2-3 servings INGREDIENTS Paneer - 250 grams Oil - 50 milliliters Cumin seeds - 1 tablespoon Onion - 75 grams Ginger garlic past - 1 tablespoon Paprika - 1 teaspoon Turmeric - 1 teaspoon Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon Salt - 1 teaspoon Chili pepper - 1 tablespoon (10 g) Water - 2 tablespoon Tomato - 75 grams Cashew cream - 2 tablespoon Heavy cream - 3 tablespoon Butter - 2 tablespoon Dry red chili - 2 Bell pepper - 1 (75 g) PREPARATION 1. Heat pan on medium and add oil. Then add cumin seeds and onion. Cook until the onion develops dark color, although without burning it. Stir in the ginger garlic past and cook for 2 minutes. 2. Add salt, turmeric, paprika, coriander powder, and green chili pepper, then stir. After stirring well, add tomatoes and and continue stirring for 2 minutes. 3. Stir in the cashew cream and heavy cream. Then add water and stir for another 2 minutes before setting it aside. 4. Heat pan on medium and add melted butter. Add dried red pepper, onion, bell pepper and paneer, stir everything together. Then, add the blended sauce and continue stirring. 5. Cook for 5 minutes and stir twice in between. 4. Garnish with coriander (cilantro) and serve with rice.
